Having originally studied Child Psychology, Marisa knew she had a different calling which started when she entered a classroom setting. Now with over 10 years teaching experience, Marisa aims to provide a holistic environment where learners both seek and provide information, where teaching is modelled and nurtured, and learners are encouraged to make mistakes. Marisa moved to Portugal from South Africa where she was a teacher at a neurodiverse school; giving Marisa a great insight into learner’s needs and struggles and providing her with adaptive skills to make necessary accommodations in the classroom.
