José was born in South Africa, emigrated to Portugal 30 years ago, and is now based in Tavira. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University Lusofona and a master’s degree in IT Teaching from the IE-University of Lisbon. He has worked for various schools in Portugal, international and public, and has from an early age worked with children. In addition to teaching Jose has also worked for Apple, Microsoft and other IT companies. For the last 25 years, he has also worked as a basketball coach in various clubs in the Algarve. Jose is excited and motivated to be able to be part of the Aspire International School team.
