A Brazilian by birth, Nayane travelled extensively for a number of years before arriving in Portugal in 2020, where she decided to settle. She au-paired for 9 months and taught the kids some Portuguese. In Brazil she owned a language school where she taught English as a foreign language (TEFL) to all ages but mostly kids. Working at AIS as a teacher's assistant, she spends most of her time in class helping kids with their difficulties, often individually according to their needs. Her goal is to make classes fun and interactive and as practical as possible as she believes it's the best way to learn. She also loves to do outside work involving movement with the kids.
