Tânia was born in Lisbon but has lived in the Algarve since 2007. She has a degree in Clinical Psychology and specializes in Health Psychology and Perinatality. She has worked in several schools in the Algarve where she has worked as a psychologist and teacher from year 1 to year 12 in various subjects. In addition to teaching, she is also the director of an association that works with children and families with developmental and learning disabilities. For the last 16 years she has also been working has a yoga, mindfulness and meditation teacher to various age groups and is currently getting a degree in Chinese Medicine. She is very excited to be teaching at Aspire school and I believes that the best way to motivate learning is to create a space of mutual trust between teacher and student.
